Diwali Chai & Charity KS 2022
Happy Diwali!!! It’s such a joyous time of the year. Diwali is all about spreading positive vibes and cheer, new beginnings, strengthening bonds with loved ones and communities and above all “giving”.
Lets make this Diwali special for children coming from challenging socio-economic backgrounds by donating to Akshaya Patra, the world’s largest NGO school meal program, providing hot, nutritious lunches to over 2 million children in 20,000 schools, across India every day. It only takes $20 to feed one child for a year.
Please have a pyaali of Chai with us in your festive Indian attire and bring a small Diwali sweet or savory treat (estimated for a dozen) to share. We will learn about the organization mission and how we can help.
