Dear Royal Enfield USA Enthusiasts, a quintessential and quirky part of the cycles we love is their history and manufacture in India for the last half century. Many of us have visited India and ridden these bikes across the country.
The 21-day COVID lock down in India will drastically affect the poorest of the poor. Akshaya Patra (www.akshayapatrausa.org) a foundation that normally feeds 1.8 million underprivileged school children each day across India, is using its kitchens across the country to feed and distribute food supplies to daily wage earners – the poorest of the poor, many of whom live on less than 5 dollars a day, but cannot even make that money anymore.
Please donate generously and let’s show some love for the country that makes our iconic bikes and it’s neediest at this very challenging time.
