Daya is a talented 6th-grade student hailing from Atmakur Village, Mangalagiri Mandal, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh. Despite coming from a family below the poverty line, he excels in his studies and has a particular aptitude for math. Daya has a strong desire to become a math teacher in the future. In addition to his academic pursuits, he is an active participant in Kabbadi and enjoys playing games

Daya has been a beneficiary of The Akshaya Patra Mid-Day Meal program for four years. This program has been a lifesaver for his family as it relieves them of the burden of having to prepare his meals. Daya enjoys the meals provided by the program as they are not only hot and delicious but also nutritious. His favorite dish is Pulihora with Dal and flavored rice.

Daya’s family is supportive of his educational aspirations, and he looks up to M S Dhoni as his role model.
