Tanvi Bagri

Hi! I’m Tanvi Bagri, a junior at Del Norte High School and a head at the San Diego AP chapter. I was first introduced to Akshaya Patra at an annual gala, where I was initially invited to perform. However, witnessing the positive impact of this organization sparked my interest to become a member. The thought of millions of deserving children being unable to attend school and reach their full potential due to hunger motivated me to support this cause in any way I could.

Since 2019, I have been actively involved in several initiatives, including leading a Sapling Drive in 2022, where our chapter raised over $6,000 in donations. I also used my passion for art to participate in projects like the Diwali Diya project, where we painted diyas and sold them to raise funds. It is an honor to be a part of this cause and I look forward to continuing to use my skills to support children in need.
